Bhagyashree Chatterjee is a Local Journalism Initiative reporter for The Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú who covers Indigenous matters and civic affairs.
Bhagyashree writes and researches stories that recognize the history, culture and traditions of First Nations communities, in particular the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Â鶹Éç¹ú²úNation).
In the past, Bhagyashree has worked with various organizations such as CBC, Al Jazeera, The Wire, Xtra Magazine, and the Global Reporting Program at UBC.
