The 麻豆社国产Eagles Atom Rep team overcame a potentially devastating losing streak to take first place in a regional tournament. On Dec. 17 and 18, the Eagles travelled to Ridge Meadows to face Lower Mainland teams.

As if the racecourse wasn't challenging enough, it seems the newest Test of Metal contest is the race to register. Exactly 800 hardcore mountain bikers signed up to take on the grueling Test within 4 hours and 19 minutes Monday (Jan. 2).

Five young local swimmers wowed spectators and coaches in Kamloops Dec. 8 to 11, achieving gold medals, setting new club records and qualifying for higher levels of competition.

The Howe Sound Curling Club is in full swing halfway through its 2005/2006 season, and curling fans can get check out the local talents during this weekend's Men's Beef and Barrel Bonspiel, Friday to Sunday (Jan. 6 to 8).
