Netanyahu says Cabinet won't meet over ceasefire until Hamas backs down from 'last minute crisis'

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) 鈥 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu鈥檚 office said Thursday his Cabinet won鈥檛 meet to approve the Gaza ceasefire deal until Hamas backs down from what it called a 鈥渓ast minute crisis.

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) 鈥 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu鈥檚 office said Thursday his Cabinet won鈥檛 meet to approve the Gaza ceasefire deal until Hamas backs down from what it called a 鈥渓ast minute crisis.鈥

Netanyahu鈥檚 office accused Hamas of reneging on parts of the agreement in an attempt 鈥渢o extort last minute concessions.鈥 It did not elaborate.

The Israeli Cabinet was set to ratify the deal Thursday.
