With a federal election slated for next fall, at the latest, how people are doing economically, will be one of the many factors that sway votes toward one party or the other.

So, we set out to find out how folks feel about the current state of their personal affairs. 

The 麻豆社国产 polled 209 readers and asked the question: Are you financially better off this year than last year?

The poll ran from 11/28/2024 to 12/4/2024. Of the 209 votes, we can determine that 96 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
