Quest University's basketball teams fell further out of playoff contention after failing to notch a single win in four games against the UBC Okanagan Heat in Abbotsford on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 13 and 14).

The men Kermodes lost 78-63 and 77-45, while the women dropped 62-53 and 66-48 losses.

Both squads are in seventh place in the 10-team British Columbia Colleges' Athletic Association, one place out of playoff contention.

The men's team has a record of six wins, 10 losses and is one win away from Langara College, Douglas College and Capilano University.

The women's team has five wins, 11 losses, and is two wins out of the playoffs behind Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Two wins in the final regular season doubleheader against Columbia Bible College (CBC) will advance Quest to the playoffs only if Kwantlen losses its final two games. Quest split the previous series against Kwantlen but tallied more points to win the tie-breaker.

Quest takes on CBC on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 19 and 20) in Abbotsford. CBC's women's team has yet to win a game, while the men's team is in last place with just two wins.
