Though all 800 spaces for the 2010 race sold out in less than 25 minutes in January, North Shore Credit Union will make one lucky rider very happy when they raffle off a free entry at their Garibaldi Highlands branch later this month.

"This is a great opportunity for someone who wasn't quick enough in the registration process" said Mark Stephens, manager of NSCU's 麻豆社国产branch.

"It's such an amazing race and we're very proud to be title sponsor. We're also delighted to be able to offer this last-chance opportunity to enter."

Hopeful racers need to complete an entry form in person at the North Shore Credit Union branch located at 102 - 40147 Glenalder Place in 麻豆社国产by 4:30 p.m. Thursday (April 22).

The winner will be contacted the very next day, April 23, to allow as much time as possible to train.

The 2010 North Shore Credit Union Test of Metal takes place on June 19. It is a grueling 67-kilometre point-to-point mountain bike race through Squamish's world-renowned trails, starting at Brennan Park Recreation Centre.

North Shore Credit Union has been the presenting sponsor of Test of Metal for six years and has operated a local branch in Garibaldi Highlands for five years.
