“We are thrilled to be named in the Top 5, but now we need help from our community and beyond,” said Raz Peel, president of 麻豆社国产Search and Rescue, in a news release Friday.
The prize is awarded by popular vote.
The winning team will bring home a new customized Land Rover Defender in addition to an approximately $34,000 (US$25,000) donation and in-kind Pelican products valued at over $10,800 (US$8,000).
“This vehicle would be an amazing asset for our team when responding to tasks. We would love your help and support in getting the word out and getting as many votes as possible will help us bring this Defender home to Squamish,” added Peel.
