Performers set for public celebration of Quest graduates

Mazacote and Pablito to headline 麻豆社国产celebration.

Mazacote will be performing in a grad celebration that is open to the public.

Music performers and will be headlining an upcoming event in celebration of Quest University’s grad class. 

The event, which takes place on April 29 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., is called Agridulce Latin Fever Night and is hosted by Cleveland Hospitality Group and sponsored by Quest University Canada Alumni Association. The event will take place at 37773 Cleveland Ave. and will be tented with a bar on hand.

“We’ve not been able to run an in-person graduation ceremony for the last two years, and this event is a way to bring the whole Quest University and 麻豆社国产community together for a long-overdue in-person celebration of our graduates,” wrote Josh Visser, an organizer of the event, in an email to the Chief.

Mazacote last performed in 麻豆社国产in 2017 at the According to , the Juno-nominated group “is a hard-hitting world/Latin band with deep roots in the music of Nicaragua, Mozambique and Colombia.”

“Inspired by Afro-Caribbean percussion and tropical party sounds, they play brass-heavy Latin dance beats with a socially conscious message.”

According to Visser, Pablito is from Mexico City and “lays the bridge between organic sounds and the synths and beat machines of hip-hop, house and techno. Having played gigs in Mexico, Europe and North America, his project aims to deliver a genre-less experience.”

The event will be open to the public, and tickets are and will be available at the door for $25.
