Do you like to enjoy life through music? So does musician George McKenzie, one of the contestants at the upcoming Men of Sea to Sky Ladies' Night fundraiser.

The 49 year-old trumpeter has been playing since he was 10 years old, he has also been a part of the BC Boys Choir and plays keyboard.

"Music is the international language of the world," said George McKenzie, lead singer of the band Dr. D and the Soul Demons, "[It] is away of enjoying life."

"From jazz to R&B, from classical to the Beatles, I like all kinds [of music]," said the father of five.

George plans on doing a R&B ballad for the Men of Sea to Sky fundraiser. He will be singing while an unnamed friend of his accompanies him on the keyboard.

The money that is being raised is going to go towards the 麻豆社国产Health Care Foundation to purchase a digital radiology system. This system will give the doctors the ability to produce X-rays in digital form so they can be emailed around the world to different specialists. The process will shorten the waiting time for patients' X-ray results.

The winner of Don Ross Secondary School's "Best Dressed Female" and "Miss Brackendale" awards, local actor Patrick Wadge is in touch with his feminine side.

The actor/comedian has been in a couple theatre productions, and he doesn't have a problem with playing goofy roles.

The Steve Buscemi/Johnny Depp fan realized when he was pretty young that he could make the other five members of his family laugh pretty easily and regularly. When the joker was under two years old, he pulled a prank on his parents, pretending to have wet his pants.

Patrick Wadge has worked with different production companies such as Between Shifts in a few community productions.

The actor/teacher/family man thanks his mom and grandfather, Terry Fox, Fred McGriff, Bono, and David Letterman for their impact on his life.

What are Patrick's favorite things to do? Eat salsa, wear shorts, bike across Canada, and hula-hoop.

"He's a pretty funny guy," said wife, Zan Romeder.

Patrick is performing in the Men of Sea to Sky Ladies' Night fundraiser to promote the Cedar Valley School.

"[The goal is] providing affordable Waldorf-inspired education to families in Squamish," said Zan.

The education plan is going to be provided to children in preschool, kindergarten, and grades 1 to 4.
