It will be an event sure to tickle the 麻豆社国产funny bone, and lift the heart.
Squamish's adult choir, the Sea to Sky Singers, is presenting 鈥楥omedy Tonight,鈥� concerts Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at Centrepoint.
The group of approximately 30 singers, directed by Veronica McPhee and accompanied by Shira Weidenbaum on piano, will perform humorous songs from a variety of musical genre, according to a news release from the singers.
鈥淭he theme was chosen to showcase the lighter side of choral music,鈥� McPhee said in the release. 鈥淲e hope to engage a new audience while still appealing to our devoted crowd."
The shows will also feature a stand-up performance by award-winning Vancouver comedian Ross Dauk, who will also serve as master of ceremonies.

The musical line-up includes arrangements of Stephen Sondheim classics including Comedy Tonight and Send in the Clowns.
There will be a cash bar at the Saturday evening performance. Tickets can be purchased at Anna鈥檚 Interiors, Concrete Blonde or at the door. Children 12 and under are free.
