Many hearts are aching following the horrendous accident last Saturday morning that took the lives of seven 麻豆社国产residents. Five of those were members of the Sikh community and, as well, father and son Al and Ian Barbour. Words seem so shallow, but please know many care and are keeping you in our hearts and prayers.

It will be shown at The Eagle Eye Theatre with shows at 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 each at Valhalla Pure Outfitters. Perhaps there will be tickets available at the theatre tonight.

Not Just for Seniors will be on Community 10 next week on Tuesday (Feb. 10) at 7 and 10 p.m. and Wednesday (Feb. 11) at 10 a.m., 7 and 10 p.m. It will feature long time resident Dennis Debeck.
There is a Loonie Carnival Skate at Brennan Park Recreation Centre on Friday, Feb. 13th from 1 to 3 p.m. On Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14 take in the Valentine two for one Sweetheart Skate from 12:40 p.m. to 2:10 p.m.
As it is a Pro D day on Friday, Feb. 13,the Recreation Centre invites kids seven to 12 years to spend their day off school playing games, making crafts and more with qualified recreation leaders. February is traditionally Heart Month for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and the Yukon. The coordinator for the Dress Red program in 麻豆社国产is Karen Vanzella and she has been busy visiting many businesses in the community including the banks, Credit Union, School Board office, 麻豆社国产Hospital, Post Office, Interfor and more requesting they participate. Dress Red will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 and participants are asked to "Dress Red" and purchase a button for $5. This program raises vital funds needed for health promotion and cardiovascular and stroke research.
