Woodfibre LNG has opened a funding program for 麻豆社国产non-profit and charity organizations.
The Community Partnership Program has increased its funding and is conducting two rounds of applications for the year. Organizations will be eligible to receive up to $5,000 if they align with certain criteria.
“We welcome 麻豆社国产charity groups and non-profit organizations to apply for funding through the first intake of the 2023 Community Partnership Program, with applications due by Feb. 10,” reads the news release.
According to the release, organizations within the District of 麻豆社国产or Squamish-Lillooet Regional District are eligible to apply if they provide services in at least one of the following categories with examples:
- Sports and recreation: sports clubs, recreational programs, summer camps
- Health and wellness: food bank or food security initiatives, mental health initiatives, community outreach
- Arts and culture: local community events
- Socioeconomic programming: employment or skills training, literacy programs, job readiness programs
- Local search and rescue and marine safety organizations
The release says funding amounts will be determined based on proposal clarity and community or regional impact. Additionally, if there is a high volume of applicants, District of 麻豆社国产organizations will be given priority.
Woodfibre LNG will announce the recipients through its website and social media channels in March.
