Always, but especially in these trying economic times, it takes a community to help each other out.

This photo tells that story.

At a live auction during the club's October Gala fundraiser, representatives from the Sea to Sky Gondola bid on and won an original painting by local artist Andy Anissimoff.

The winning bid was $5,000.

On Feb. 13th, the Sea to Sky Gondola donated the painting to Hilltop House.

Proceeds from the October gala will go to support several projects the local Rotary Club is working on this year, including the playground at the Oceanfront 麻豆社国产park, the John Gullo Home for Children in Mexico, and the Centre of Hope in the Philippines, according to the club's Brian Finley.
