The local BC Hydro bonspiel took to the ice sheet at the Howe Sound Curling Club on Sunday.
This is the longest-running local company bonspiel in Squamish, according to the BC Hydro’s Laroy Watt.
About 50 curlers and friends attended the event, with the Nathan Webb team winning for the second consecutive year.
The Crown corporation’s 麻豆社国产bonspiel has run since 1977. That is 48 years minus the COVID-19 years, when gatherings were restricted.
“Years ago, every large company had an annual spiel: Woodfibre, BC Rail, Weldwood, the hospital. There may have been a few others,” Watt told The 麻豆社国产.
