Homemade brew, cannabis concentrate and other contraband items were recently seized from a maximum security prison in B.C.
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) says staff at Kent Institution made the discovery on July 2 and seized the items, valued at $67,800.
Staff also found handmade weapons along with cellphones and accessories.
Police have been notified about the contraband items and an investigation is ongoing.
CSC says it is taking heightened measures to prevent contraband from entering institutions.
Anyone who has information about the items is asked to contact CSC at 1-866-780-3784.
