Gabriel Neron on top, Bailey Goldstone earns silver at Canada Cup in Panorama

Jesse-Fin Groot, Cami Bragg, Sebastien Harrisson, Ruby Wells also prevail at another strong showing for Sea to Sky riders

The second stop on this year's Canada Cup circuit in Panorama Resort yielded another swath of podium finishes for Sea to Sky mountain bikers. 

Gabriel Neron of Squamish won it all in the men's pro race, clocking in at two minutes, 52.86 seconds for gold. Brackendale's Jack Peeland came second (2:55.35) and Patrick Laffey from Qualicum Beach had enough speed for third (2:56.29).

"This one felt good! I took the win and fastest time of the day yesterday at [Panorama Resort]!" Neron said on his Instagram account after the event. "Quick pack up and on the way to Crankworx we go!"

Meanwhile, Bailey Goldstone followed up in Fernie with a silver medal among women's pros (3:31.75). Emmy Lan emerged victorious (3:28.87) and another Comox native, Eva Leikermoser, took bronze (3:35.25).

Whistler's Jesse-Fin Groot earned top spot in the men's age 17-18 event (3:21.45). Two other BC boys joined him on the podium, runner-up Tanner Findlay from Delta (3:23.81) and Golden's Owen McLennan in third (3:24.73). 

kept rolling with a gold medal of her own in the women's 15-16 race (3:33.49), bettering her second-place run from Fernie. Tayte Proulx-Royds from Kelowna grabbed silver (3:36.51) and another Whislerite, Mhairi Smart, found herself with bronze (3:45.95).  

"Super stoked to have raced at such a fun place!" Bragg said on social media. "Great job to [Proulx-Royds] and [Smart]! Now home to Crankworx!"

Likewise, Sebastien Harrisson continued his winning ways in Panorama as the fastest of all boys in the 13-14 category (3:15.95). A Kiwi, Camden Rutherfurd, was not far behind in second (3:17.77) and Cody Kelly checked in for third (3:18.12), making it two Pembertonians on that particular podium. 

Sophi Lawrence, already with under her belt, added a silver medal this week among women aged 17-18 (3:42.82). Coquitlam's Natasha Miller prevailed (3:40.28) and Joy Attalia, Fernie's defending champ, secured bronze (3:46.40). 

Two more Sea to Sky riders topped the girls' 13-14 race: Squamolian Ruby Wells (3:58.49) ahead of Arleigh Kemp from Spud Valley (4:03.65). Prince George native Jenna Foreman completed the top three (4:04.20). 

Yet another 麻豆社国产resident, Nevin Amirault, formed one-third of a BC podium sweep among boys aged 15 to 16 (3:20.44). That put him behind Felix Chala of Kamloops (3:18.09) but ahead of Kimberley's Ethan Eskelin (3:23.23). 

Likewise, Mateo Quist earned bronze in the expert 15-16 division (3:08.95), though he was unable to best victor Ryder Wilson from Nanaimo (3:04.87) and runner-up Jaxon Blake of Kelowna (3:05.16).
