A cyclist who was struck by a motor vehicle in Whistler Village on Wednesday, July 19 escaped with what are believed to be only minor injuries, police confirmed.
In a brief statement, Whistler RCMP said at approximately 5:40 p.m., Mounties responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Northlands and Village Gate boulevards involving a vehicle and cyclist.
The BC Ambulance Service attended the scene, and, "at this time, it appears the cyclist suffered only minor injuries," police said via email.
