The video is one of many on language and culture developed by Ta na wa Ns7éyx̱nitm ta SnewÌ“iyálh (the Nation's Language and Cultural Affairs Department).

The videos are for Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Â鶹Éç¹ú²úNation) to increase opportunities for all Nation members to learn more about and to share in the Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw culture, according to the Nation.

Each which can be found on Facebook and Tik Tok, focuses on a different topic related to Skwxwú7mesh snichim vocabulary, ranging from greetings to colours, to times of day and days of the week, to seasons and different times of the year.

The department recently started using TikTok to reach a younger audience.
