The Britannia Mine Museum is set to host a few 'scary' events during the last two weekends of October.

The museum will arrange some “family-friendly chills and thrills” on Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The events will utilize the underground mine tunnel and the recently established exhibit with an orca skeleton.

“Halloween is the perfect time for the Museum to be ‘bad to the bone’ and have some ghoulish yet family-friendly fun,” said Derek Jang, manager of interpretive delivery at the museum, in the release.

“We like to spread out the creepy entertainment over two weekends so families young and old can come enjoy some spine-chilling, yet educational, adventures.”

Entrance is $20 for adults and $15 for kids aged five to 12, including the Halloween activities, museum exhibits, gold panning and lost pirate journal underground train ride. The museum will also still be offering its regular underground tour and show through regular admissions.

Those interested can learn more and pre-book their tickets at the museum’s website, .
